Creative work often belongs in more than one portfolio, but reposting the same project under several owners fragments the story and can blur authorship. Werkset keeps the original project with one owner and adds named collaborators with their roles.

That gives a visitor one authoritative project page while still showing who directed, shot, produced, edited, designed, composed, or contributed in another role. The credit stays attached to the actual work instead of becoming an unverified line in a bio.

A project owner can search for people already on Werkset or invite someone new by email. The collaborator receives an invitation and decides whether to accept the credit.

After acceptance, their name links to their profile. The collaborator can choose whether the project appears on their own portfolio, reorder credited projects in their feed, or remove themselves later. That keeps the relationship useful without taking away individual control.

Accepted collaborations connect profiles and make the people behind a project easier to discover. Werkset also gives members a Connections view for the people they have worked with and direct chat for those project connections.

The result is practical: a producer can move from a finished project to the editor who cut it, a client can understand the team, and collaborators can keep an accurate record of shared work without duplicating the project.
